Workplan

The BioINsouth project, co-funded by the European Union and supported by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking, aims to support decision-makers in incorporating ecological limits into regional bioeconomy strategies. Our workplan is designed to develop guidelines and digital tools, by taking into account several ecological parameters (e.g. emissions, land use). This will facilitate the adoption of innovative methodologies to assess environmental impacts across multiple industrial bio-based systems, thereby enhancing regional competitiveness and innovation capacity, and contributing to the EU’s fair and green transition.

The project is structured into seven key work packages (WPs), each focusing on specific aspects of the bioeconomy. Each work package is designed to address specific objectives and deliverables, ensuring a comprehensive approach to achieving the project’s goals.
