π The Peloponnese MARG is ready: a new step for bioeconomy in Southern Greece! πβ¨
On the 21st of March, as part of the European BioINSouth project, the Kick-off Meeting of the Peloponnese (Greece) MARG was held, a key moment for the development of the regional bioeconomy. This strategic group brings together experts and sector actors to guide the development of high-impact initiatives, contributing to the sustainable growth of the territory. π±π‘
π‘ The Peloponnese faces several challenges, including low SDG rankings, limited EU funding, and public awareness. Despite these, the region’s extensive coastal line and virgin mountains offer great potential for aquaculture and biodiversity. Mapping best practices and integrating archaeological sites into the bioeconomy strategy are essential steps forward. πΏπ
A special thanks to the MARG members for their valuable contribution! π
