UniNa is the world’s oldest public university, ranking in the top 2% of universities worldwide, participating in >100 H2020 projects, owning >600 industrial patents and 81 spin-offs. Leading the National Research Centre for technology in agriculture (Agritech), sponsored by the Next generation EU Fund, it focuses on key enabling technologies for the agri-food sector, e.g. the production of new bio-based products through waste valorisation and recycling. The team involved in BioINSouth has consolidated expertise in bio-economic modelling, geospatial data analysis, and the study of anthropic effects and their dynamics on forestry and agricultural ecosystems, also through activities in Agritech and in the H2020 LandSupport.

UniNA contributes to all WPs and leads Task 4.3 by setting-up the Methodology to study the scenarios of growth while estimating impacts on food security Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF).
